A Cancer in the Amazon

Co-produced, shot, and edited the first teleSUR Docs documentary short, “A Cancer in the Amazon.” Victims of polluted air, water, and land in the Ecuadorian Amazon tell the story of how Texaco (now Chevron) set up shop in the 1960s, built oil towns, and then left decades later in the 1990s, leaving generations with one of the largest environmental disasters in the world.
